The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X is a high-end desktop (HEDT) processor with 24 cores. It is part of the Ryzen Threadripper lineup, using the Zen 4 (Storm Peak) architecture with Socket sTR5. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) the core-count is effectively doubled, to 48 threads.
